Renewing Membership or Insurance Online

You will be required to login to the membership page

If you are not a Vagabundos member or just want a quote above. You will be required to login or create a membership to purchase the policy.

If you forgot your login or password click on the “Need Help Logging In” link on the login page and enter your email address. An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password. Once you enter your new password and confirm it, your login will be updated to your email address and your password will be updated to the new password you entered.

If you have never created a login and password click on “Current Member Who Needs To Create A Login” on the login page and enter your last name, member number and zip code. An email will be sent to you with instructions to create a password. Once your password is set your login will be your email address and you will be able to log into your member page.

On the quote page if you mark that you will be in Mexico 37-90 or 91-180 days it will give you two quotes, a 6 month (six consecutive months) or Annual (180 non-consecutive days out of the year). If you mark you will be in Mexico over 180 days it will give you two quotes, a 6 month (six consecutive months) or Annual (365 days). Please choose the policy that fits your needs. If you are unsure of any of the questions or coverage offered please call the office.

You will be able to print your policy directly after you pay for it. Policy must be in the Registered owner’s name and they must be a Vagabundos member to purchase the insurance.

IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT:

Important: You must report all claims prior to leaving Mexico, and recrossing the border into the USA. Failure to report the claim prior to leaving Mexico may result in the DENIAL of your claim,

Do not leave the scene of the accident

These toll-free claim numbers are only valid within Mexico and must be called from a Mexico phone (OR a foreign cell phone that is roaming on Mexico cell service, they will not work from VOIP phone (i.e. Skype) or from any phone outside of the Republic of Mexico.
You will be asked to provide:
Insurance Certificate Number
Name of the insured and the driver
Place and address where the accident occurred
Vehicle identification: year, make, model, type, and color
When the adjuster arrives, you will be asked for the following documents:
Insurance Certificate
A valid driver’s license
You will be asked to complete an accident report.

Recommendations:

Do not make any arrangements with the third parties, leave this part to Chubb Seguros’ adjuster
If the vehicle is moved from the scene of the accident, you must inform the insurance company of the new location.
Do not leave the vehicle unattended since the insurance policy does not cover partial theft of parts, unless you have purchased the “plus package option”
