Meet on the northwest side of the Marina Del Rey parking lot near the launch ramp on Friday afternoon, April 16 for margaritas, snacks and a fun get-to-gether.Stay on your boat in the parking lot or get a guest slip. The entry fee is $10 per person. The largest fish caught wins first prize. There also will be a second prize. The Derby starts at 6 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Meet at the launch ramp with your fish for weigh-in. When entering the marina parking lot, be sure to buy a ticket for each 24 hours you will be there and make sure your ticket is right-side up and visible through the windshield. They patrol the parking lot and if your ticket isn’t visible you will get fined. The fine is $50 for every 24 hours.
