Annual Crab Feed, Mexican Fiesta &
Dixieland on the Delta
Tower Park Marina and
KOA Campground
June 4-6, 2010
The Crab Feed will be at our usual location - Tower Park Marina and KOA Kampground - off of Interstate 5 and Highway 12 near Lodi. Tickets are now on sale. The Thursday night potluck was such a success that we’ll do it again. The barbecue trailer will be fired up near the beer wagon about 5 p.m. The Friday night Mexican Fiesta catered by New Mecca Restaurant, including margaritas and beer, has now become another great tradition. Saturday will feature our famous Crab Feed with the Cellblock 7 Dixieland Jazz Band in the afternoon, followed by music for dancing until curfew time. The traditional delectable Survivor’s Potluck Breakfast will be on Sunday morning for a last get-together before traveling on down the road. The price is $22 per person for the Mexican dinner with margaritas and beer. The Crab Feed is $45 each. If you have not yet made your ticket reservations call the office at (800) 474-2252.
Campsite reservations will be made through the Vag office in order to get a substantial discount. To minimize bookkeeping, full payment for your site will be required at the time the office requests. Anyone staying in a cabin will need to stop at the KOA office to check in, but not coming in just for the day. Ticket reservations are still required and are totally separate from RV reservations.
It is a Crab Feed tradition to bring things you no longer use to sell or swap with Vag buddies. Feel free to set up a table on Friday and Saturday with your items - fishing tackle, boat gear or whatever. Someone else might consider your offerings as found treasure.
